Shelby was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. During her undergraduate studies, Shelby did extensive research on obsessive compulsive disorder, eating disorders and anxiety. After completing her Bachelor's degree, she worked in a Dermatology practice for a Mohs surgeon in Jacksonville. During her Physician Assistant Program, she did a rotation in urology. This is where she discovered her interest in urology and her passion for making her patients feel at ease when confronted with sensitive situations. She is very excited to be a part of the Advanced Urology team!

In her spare time, Shelby enjoys traveling, reading, and taking spin classes. She also loves spending time with her family, friends, and her dog Thor.
