Shane Horton grew up in Memphis, Tennessee. She graduated with honors from the University of Tennessee with a bachelors in Kinesiology. Throughout college, she worked as a medical assistant in orthopedics while also volunteering at East Tennessee Children's Hospital. She stayed in Knoxville to obtain her Masters degree at Lincoln Memorial University where she graduated with honors and was inducted into Pi Alpha Honors Society. While completing her rotations in PA school, Shane discovered the diverse and interesting world of urology, and loved both the days in the clinic and in the operating room.

In her free time, Shane loves working out, eating great food, traveling, spending time with friends and family, and taking her dog to the park. She is so excited to be working with Dr. Dave at Advanced Urology!
