Ionela Turcin, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant with a master's degree from Rush University in Chicago, where she graduated with honors and was inducted into the Pi Alpha National Honor Society. She earned her undergraduate degrees in Biology and Spanish from Franklin and Marshall College.

Before PA school, Ionela taught middle school science through Teach for America and worked as a hematology-oncology patient care technician at Emory University Hospital, where she developed a strong foundation in compassionate patient care. Her clinical training sparked an interest in both the surgical and outpatient sides of medicine, which ultimately drew her to urology. She looks forward to providing personalized care and supporting her patients' quality of life.

Outside of work, Ionela loves spending time with her family, friends, and her Shichon puppy, Alfie. She also enjoys reading, exploring new restaurants, and traveling.
